Affinity Cycles | Kissena & Lo-Pro Pre-order

Oh snap, the new colors of the Affinity Kissena, Lo-pro and Metro are up for pre-order. I saw both of them at Interbike and the new colors for both blew me away, I can’t wait to shred it on the Velodrome!

Affinity is proud to launch our 2014 line up of World Championship quality track frames. Online now in our store you can now pre order our full range including the Lo Pro, Kissena and Metropolitan frame and fork sets.

Check out the limited edition black chrome Lo Pro’s, the new asphalt black Kissena and since black rules, we made a matte black Metro as well. To suite our simple color ways and clean design aesthetic, we’ve decided to come clean off with our graphics except for our A logo which is CNC machined into every new Affinity.

Have your frame first!… pre order customers will make a full payment, receive their frames by the end of October and have them before they hit our dealers and distributors.

Affinity x Raekwon: Rebuild NYC

Our friends and Supporters, Affinity Cycles have teamed up Reakwon the Chef to help aid those affected by Hurricane Sandy. This is pretty amazing and I hope the builds go for a pretty penny. Good work guys. Wu-tang is for everyone.

Details:

Affinity and Raekwon are working in conjunction wit Ride4NY, a New York City based cycling initiative formed with the intent to raise awareness, fundraising, rebuilding strategies for those hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy. Ride4NY will be hosting a group ride this upcoming Saturday December 15th. More details to follow about the group ride. To register for the event, visit the Ride4NY website or on facebook at Ride4NY.

The bikes are being auctioned on Ebay beginning today, Monday December 10th and will end on Friday morning December 14th. All proceeds raised from each bike will go directly to the families directly affected by the storm in Staten Island, Redhook, Coney Island and Rockaway Beach.

Affinity Cycles and Raekwon from the Wu Tang Clan have come together to design 3 custom bikes to be auctioned off to aid those hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy. In typical Wu Tang black and yellow, these bikes feature some of New York Cities hardest hit areas, Staten Island, Rockaway, Red Hook and Coney Island.

In celebration of Ride4NY Raekwon is hosting a benefit concert this Thursday December 13th in Brooklyn at Jaguars 3 located at 225 47th St. betw. 2nd and 3rd ave.

Check out the bikes here, New York City, Staten Island, and Rockaway.

The frame set is an Affinity Kissena with custom 88mm carbon rims hand laced to Gran Compe hubs. The winner can choose either tubular or clincher rims. Parts list includes, Affinity R/T crank set, Truvativ bb, Tange track bars, Thomson stem and seat post, All City track grips, Fizik Arione saddle, FSA headset, Conti tires, Mks pedals and clips, Toshi double straps.

This is a 5 day no reserve auction. Since this is a custom bike, the winner will choose their size Affinity Kissena frame, then the bike will be sent out for paint. Please expect 2 weeks to 1 month for paint and assembly. There will only be 3 of these bikes made, each is unique in its own right.

Hurricane Sandy hit New York City a little over a month ago, the majority of Rockaway and the hardest hit area of Staten Island are still with out power. We will be distributing the funds through grass roots relief efforts on Staten Island and Rockaway in the form of pre paid credit cards. Members of Ride4NY, Affinity and Raekwon will be hand delivering these pre paid credit cards door to door shortly after the auction, just in time for the holiday season.

If you’re in or around New York City this week, go to Ride4NY.org to register for the group ride, and be there this Thursday in Brooklyn for the benefit concert.
